Zendesk is a Danish start-up providing a SaaS delivered help desk solution for small to medium sizes businesses. Although I currently have no real use for the service I was intrigued so I signed up for a free account and gave it a whirl. After a few minutes I received the following e-mail from one of their support representatives:

Hi Tom,

I love the websites you made - simple but elegant! I like “Sipadan Diving Resort” the most!

Thanks for checking out Zendesk. We are thrilled to have a new friend.

I want to reach out to you to let you know about some Zendesk highlights and the resources we have available to you during your evaluation.

The fact they took the time to go to my website and write such a personalised welcome e-mail really impressed me, after all it’s got me writing in my blog about them.
